The basics in crossdressing photography are the same as the basics in all photography. Get creative, try different things and think outside the box. You should also wear a lot of makeup and huge breast forms.
As Robert Jordan once said: “There is one rule, above all others, for being a man. Whatever comes, face it on your feet.” Of course, sometimes a man has to face whatever comes while on his knees. Sometimes a man may even have to swallow his pride, among other things. Every picture tells a story so use a fast shutter speed.
There is a comic in today’s paper called Speed Bump with a father and son shopping at the mall. The caption says: Remember son, we’re men. We walk in, we buy, we walk out. No browsing.
Linda Zoe shows that stereotypes are made to be broken wearing an adorable white mini skirt, seamed stockings and white high heels. Remember, you can try on outfits all day long and you don’t have to buy anything.
Tip: always ask the sales girls how you look, some men just don’t have the legs for a mini skirt.
The tightly corseted Playboy Bunnies, with rabbit tails and ears, will soon be back in business in New York City. Three decades after the original Playboy Club closed in Manhattan, an apparent victim of changing American tastes and views on women, a new one will debut later this year in a hotel a few blocks from Times Square.
Former Bunny Kathryn Leigh Scott has fond memories of the old New York club: “It was an opportunity and it was fun. You put your school clothes in a locker and put on a satin costume.”
The always beautiful Rachel Greene (possibly not his real name) demonstrates how to rock a bunny costume with style and class. As J. Edgar Hoover once said: “If you can’t have fun dressing up in a satin bunny costume then maybe you should wear a suit and a badge.”
I am recording again and will be adding to my Podcast very soon. If you have suggestions or special requests leave a comment below.
Sissy stories will be considered but must be less than 1000 words. A good example is Saragirl’s Sissy Confession (see my story page or Podcast). Do not send me anything without discussing it first, there are only 24 little hours in a day.
Topics can include forced feminization, sissy humiliation, transvestite bondage, sissy maids, or all of the above. But absolutely no more cheerleader fantasies, too many torn ligaments.
So you invest in a new camera and lens, and decide to take some amazing photos. You study photo blogs, watch videos, and read books about light, color and composition.
But what to shoot? Sunsets? Rainbows? Yellowstone National Park? Think again.
Rangers in Yellowstone National Park recently rescued a tourist who was trying to take a photo. All he wanted to do was take a great image that he could show his friends and family. But as he tried to get the right composition, he fell backwards off a cliff and by sheer luck got wedged in a small crevice in the Grand Canyon. They said he was lucky to land where he did because he was at the top of a 200 foot drop.
He would have been better off asking the park rangers where the transvestites hung out and have them pose. Here are the top three reasons to shoot a transvestite:
You will probably not fall off a cliff. Most transvestites do not like heights.
One of the first things you learn about photography is to try to tell a story, it rarely gets more interesting than a man dressed as a woman.
You don’t have to sit and wait hours for the perfect light. Put him in a chair and ask him to smile, all transvestites love to be photographed.
Sure, you can go the traditional route and hike for miles into the woods or mountains in the middle of the night, and wait for a perfect sunrise. But as Ansel Adams, possibly the most famous photographer of all time once said: “A good photograph is knowing where to stand.”
As soon as I joined Pinterest and started following people, I noticed that a lot of guys pin pictures of women in boards labeled Crossdresser, Transvestite, and/or Transgender. I figured this was just part of their fantasy, but today I discovered someone that takes this kind of thing very seriously.
His mission statement: “Come on people, you really need to think about things before you post them, damn, I just came across a picture of Megan Fox labeled “a boy”. I’m not saying trans gender girls aren’t pretty, I think some of them are gorgeous, but we all know Miss Fox was born female. Let’s use a little discretion here people. OK?”
Well ok then. Check out this board for yourself and feel free to leave comments. You do have to log in but joining is free.
